Monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) is a synthetic antineoplastic agent, a very potent anti-mitotic agent that inhibits cell division by blocking the polymerisation of tubulin. Because of its toxicity, it cannot be used as a drug itself; instead, it is linked to a monoclonal antibody (mAB) which directs it to the cancer cells.
Stable isotope labeled MMAE is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of MMAE by LC/MS.
If the number, nature and/or location of stable isotope label atoms (D, 15N, 13C) in this molecule don’t fit with your application, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your specific needs.
